Heavy-duty, field-erected wooden cooling towers designed for contaminated, high-temperature industrial process water.Built to perform in the most challenging conditions up to 80°C.
1. PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Altomar Wooden Crossflow Cooling Towers are heavy-duty, field-erected systems specifically engineered for harsh industrial environments with high-temperature, high-fouling or “dirty” process water.
Configuration
Crossflow
Applications
Steel Plants, Thermal Power Plants,Paper Mills
2. HOW IT WORKS
Hot water is distributed through gravity-fed non-clog flower nozzles onto wide-spaced wooden splash bars. As water cascades down, an induced draft fan pulls air horizontally across the fill (crossflow configuration). Heat is removed through evaporation. The splash-type fill is highly resistant to clogging from suspended solids, making these towers ideal where film-fill towers would fail.
Efficient Heat Transfer
High Fouling Resistance
Gravity Distribution
Low Drift Loss
Low Operating Cost
Easy Maintenance
3.WHY IT STANDS OUT
High-Temperature
Champion
Easily handles incoming process water temperatures up to 80°C.
Zero-Clog
Design
Wide-spaced wooden splash fill tolerates heavily contaminated or "dirty" water.
Naturally
Quiet
Timber has natural vibration-damping properties for quieter operations.
Field-Erected
& Scalable
Easy on-site assembly, modifications and simple component replacements.
Heavy Industrial
Construction
Built tough for the most challenging industrial applications.
